Couple’s nice escape

We had an amazing experience enjoying a lovely cheese and fruit tray with wine as soon as we checked in! It was like royalty! The breakfast was amazing with frittata, fresh fruit, bacon, and coffee that kicked our mornings into high gear.

It was rather pricey, but given the charm and experience, it felt justifiable.

The heat in our room didn’t work as it should, leaving us freezing for several hours until it finally kicked in around four in the morning, and then it was quite noisy. Missing a cozy fire in the common areas made the atmosphere less inviting, especially during the chilly evenings. Breakfast was decent, and I appreciated the friendly service during that time. The room had a lovely aesthetic, but I wish it had been more comfortable overall. The experience didn't meet our expectations based on previous stays at similar inns. We spent nearly $300 for the night, which felt quite steep given the discomfort.
